The cards all do something, if I recall correctly... It's just more explicit in the small manual that comes with the game. Most of them have their stat changes explicitly told to you... minus the last 7 and the Fool. The Devil increases your speed, and probably decreases your faith (power to defeat spirits), but I have yet to test it. It can only be obtained in a gigantic cave full of dark crystal enemies, which are the only ones who give that card and Death upon defeat. The five needed for progression, I think that's all they do? I could fuck around with them and see for myself. Judgement is a card you only get from the Armory, which you can only enter once all your stats are at 10 or above, and I still don't know what it does (maybe it raises all stats? I dunno). Now the Fool... from what I've managed to see, the Fool is a very well hidden card that allows you to see the secret ending, which I have yet to see. I'm still not sure where I can find it, but I have an idea or two. If there's an event that represents that card well, it's when you finish the mannequin and exit the castle to the outside. The game soft locks, and it sends you back to the beginning. You keep your inventory, but I still see it as symbolic of returning to the beginning of your journey, of you being made into a Fool again.

I cleared 1st 3 villages... it goes... this was a dumb game, i couldnt stand the diablo's finger damaging manual attacks, sacred's holding down LMB attack was just a little better than diablo. you have maybe 20 spells but it has only 2 spell slots. fine! you have 5 slots. year 2002 neverwinter nights and dungeon siege didnt have all this nonsense. year 2004 scared should have had much better interfaces, sacred doesnt even have full quest and map markers, the game was so boring i am already looking for a money cheat, i wont pick up drops and open chests they are manually too intensive, 100 manual pick ups = 1 gear buy that would last 20 minutes. why bring a horse? if it runs slower than my running, not to mention,too many mounting and dismounting, my arms get tired. i am not sure if the game even has a story

I would love to see this game in the modern era with proper controls, but the stereotype humor would be canceled as nazi propaganda before it would release sadly.

This game fucking blows man. All style and no substance. Art gets to be vauge because you can look at it as long or as short as you want but when you spend 10hrs plus one pointless puzzels and backtracking with no fucking resolution or any pay off you can just fuck off. What a let down. Im done with games just walking you around art without even giving you the slightest sense of an actual story. Yeah im not paying for that and that wack ass ending.

Played this as a 10year old not sure if I bought the game or not, seemed to just turn up one day but my god was it my life for months.
